コンクールに参加する理由
ピアノコンクールは有名なところでは
ショパンコンクールがありますが
ショパンコンクールのような国際コンクールは
プロの演奏家への登竜門となっています。
そういった国際コンクールでなくても
国内にも様々なコンクールがあります。
身近なところでは楽器店が主催している
ピアノ教室に通ってる生徒を対象にした
ピアノコンクールもあります。
コンクールに参加するには
費用も結構掛かったりするわけですが
そこまでして参加する意味はあるのかというと
自分の演奏がどう評価されているのか、
もっと上達するためには何に気を付けて努力すればいいのか、
といったようなことがよく分かります。
コンクールによっては
審査員の好評がいただける場合があります。
時には厳しいコメントもありますが
本人が結果を真摯に受け止めるならば
必ず上達するきっかけになると思います。
もちろんコンクールでいい結果が出ると
本人を始め指導している先生や
家族など喜びを共有できます。
逆に結果が出なくても
ある目標に向かって努力した経験は
いい経験となって残ります。
